The initial setup consists of two rows of players with the ball on one side of the field (left or right, not midfield). There will be a player without the ball at the elbow of the free throw from a hoop. In the midfield where the free kick player is, the first player in line will not have the ball. Finally there will be 4 cones at the height of both free throws placed as follows.
STEP 2
The corner player without the ball will go out to receive in the cone on his side, while the player in the free kick corner must run to go around the cone arranged diagonally without the ball (only the first time).
STEP 3
The player who receives the ball always makes the diagonal (from now on with the ball) until passing it to the player who had just circled the cone after making the diagonal. Once he has passed it to him, he circles said cone and heads towards the opposing basket to receive from his teammate who makes the diagonal and finish. The player who passes from the line always goes to receive towards the other field.
Drill
High pace warm-up in Z
This basketball drill is a high-tempo warm-up that we can use to improve the physical fitness of our team. We are going to work with simple finishes in general, since the main objective is not technique, but physical preparation. It can be a bit complex the first few times, but once you get the hang of the mechanics it is very dynamic. The ideal is to do it with more than 7 people.
